Esther and Jimmy’s Wedding – Five Months to Plan the Perfect Wedding Day!

Some may consider it a challenge, but one of my favorite requests of clients is to plan their wedding in a “non-traditonal” time frame.  Most couples planning their wedding usually have at least 12 months, if not longer, to find a venue, hire their professionals and work out all the details for wedding day.  When a couple is looking to plan a wedding in 9 months, 6 months, or even 2-3 months (Yes – this actually has been a request of at least 2 of my clients and I am even now working with a Bride who wanted her wedding planned in 4 months!), it can be a little scary to think of all the things you need to cross off the to-do list in such a short amount of time.

This was just the case with Bride and Groom Esther and Jimmy, who contacted me in June of this year to help them plan an October 2012 wedding – giving me 5 months to find them a venue and several of their wedding day professionals.  Upon first speaking with the couple (Esther and Jimmy actually hired Diamonds and Details after speaking to me over the phone), I knew they would be a great fit for the company.  We are of course all about the details and Esther was excited to share with me all her ideas about her colors, what she wanted the centerpieces and flowers to look like and how she wanted the order of events on wedding day to flow. I loved working with Esther and Jimmy and was so excited to see their 5 months of planning come to life!

In order to pull together such a successful wedding in such a short amount of time, I had to rely on some really great wedding professional to help me do it.  Much thanks is owed to Fred from Infinity Catering who worked so hard in such a short amount of time.  I contacted Fred only 2 months before the wedding and he was able to put together a perfect menu for Esther and Jimmy’s tastes, while still being able to accommodate any special requests for some of the guests with allergies and food restrictions.  I was able to sample some of the wedding day menu myself and I can personally say Infinity Catering serves some amazing food to their clients (and wedding professionals)!  Any of the other professionals that participated in Esther and Jimmy’s wedding, I would gladly refer to future clients and can’t wait to do so!

Here are some beautiful photos from Esther and Jimmy’s wedding photographer Matt from Love Bug Images, which is a new division of Faith West Photography.  Anyone who is familiar with Faith and her company knows working with her is always an amazing experience and the same can be said for working with Love Bug Images and specifically their photographer Matt.

Congrats to Esther and Jimmy!  Diamonds and Details wishes you all the best in the future and many more happy and fun memories!!
