Laura and TJ, July 2019, Christ Church and The Downtown Club, Philadelphia, PA

I spoke with a Bride recently who asked me, “What makes you different from another Planner I could hire?”  One of the first items I listed for her – our relationships with Philadelphia’s top venues and professional – something that takes time and hard work.  Over the course of working in the area for 10+ years, we have been really lucky to develop a very trusting relationship with top caterers, venues and other professionals.  (It also helps that we work our butt off on wedding day to respect these relationships and be a true team player – you won’t see us telling any other wedding vendor how to do their job.  Have you seen Amanda try to take a photo?…hahaha)  One of the biggest compliments we get as a company is when one of these trusted relationships brings us a client referral, which is how Bride and Groom Laura and TJ and Laura’s Mom Janet found our company and hired us for wedding management services.

Laura and TJ got married on July 20th, 2019 (yes, the infamous 112 degree heat index day this summer) in Center City Philadelphia.  Laura’s Mother Janet reached out to us in January to request our assistance with managing the wedding day.  She was concerned that with two different locations – the ceremony at Christ Church and the reception at Cescaphe’s Downtown Club and a large guest list and 3 different hotels accommodating guests, there may be some hiccups with the many guest and wedding party shuttles she had hired as well as getting the wedding party where they needed to be on time, all day.  Logistics is kinda our thing, so I was happy to ease Janet’s concerns and let her know we could definitely help make the wedding day less stressful.    Helping to also ease that stress was the top notch professional team Laura and TJ put together for wedding day – of course Cescaphe’s catering, wedding cake and venue team were a dream to work with as always.  Photographer Emily Wren and her team went above and beyond to make sure Laura and TJ and their wedding party and families were as comfortable as possible shooting photos in the excessive heat.  (A little secret – the photos from inside the Downtown Club, yea…this was a Plan B location for wedding party photos.  Emily is that good and worked her magic!)  Videographer PSH Cinema captured every moment perfectly (Check out this link for the video) and Beautiful Blooms‘ decor was true elegance in the Downtown Club ballroom.   With talented entertainment by BVT Live and DJ Gaetano, Laura, TJ and their guests had a non-stop party all night long!

We have worked with several Cescaphe clients in the past few years (Thank you Cescaphe for continuing to refer us!) and with each one, we have the same experience – kind, generous and thoughtful clients who we continue to stay in touch with and share in their post-wedding moments.  We don’t think this is a coincidence.  Cescaphe offers their clients the highest level of professionalism and service and we always strive for the same.  We are so happy that from the kind words Janet and Laura have already shared with us, we were able to continue this tradition with them.  Thank you Laura, TJ and Janet for trusting the Diamonds and Details team with such a special, memorable day in your lives.  (Hopefully it will be memorable for more then the heat!)  We wish you many, many happy wishes ahead!!
